Reasons for Uncredited Deposits

When making a deposit of digital assets from other exchanges or wallets to Ourbit, and the deposited crypto is not being credited, it is usually caused by the following reasons:

Unconfirmed transactions on the blockchain, deposits of crypto that have not been listed, deposits through smart contracts, deposits to wrong addresses, unfilled or incorrectly filled tags (MEMO/Tag), etc.. When any of the above issues occurs, it is recommended to contact online customer service or submit a question to provide feedback.

1. Insufficient number of block confirmations for a normal deposit

Under normal circumstances, each crypto requires a certain number of block confirmations before the transfer amount can be deposited into your Ourbit account. To check the required number of block confirmations, please go to the deposit page of the corresponding crypto.

Reminder:

  • The minimum number of block confirmations required for each crypto is different.

  • If the number of block confirmations has not met the requirement, please wait patiently.

2. Making a deposit of an unlisted crypto

Before making a deposit, please confirm that the deposit crypto is the same as the crypto supported by the Ourbit platform by checking whether the full name of the crypto or the contract address is inconsistent. In the event of such inconsistencies, the deposit will fail to be credited to the account, and you will need to submit a Uncredited Deposit Return Application for the technical team to assist in the return processing.

3. Making a deposit via an unsupported smart contract method

Currently, some crypto cannot be deposited using the smart contract method on the Ourbit platform. Transfers made using smart contracts will not be credited to your Ourbit account. As certain smart contract transfers require manual crediting, please contact online customer service or submit an [Uncredited Deposit Return Application] form. Our technical team will assist in processing.

4. Making a deposit to the wrong crypto address or choosing the wrong deposit network

Please check to ensure you have entered the deposit address and selected the deposit network correctly before making the deposit. Otherwise, the assets will not be credited. In such a situation, please submit a [Uncredited Deposit Return Application] for the technical team to assist in the return processing.

5. Unfilled/Incorrectly filled tags (MEMO/Tag)

The deposit of certain crypto requires filling in the tag (Memo/Tag). Such as XRP, EOS, ATOM, etc. When making a deposit, you need to fill in the Memo/Tag of the cryptocorrectly. If you filled in the MEMO/Tag incorrectly, resulting in crediting failure, please submit an [Uncredited Deposit Return Application] in a timely manner. Our technical team will assist in processing.

Currently, certain crypto cannot be transferred through the Ourbit platform, and certain crypto have a minimum deposit amount. Making a deposit to hot wallets via the above methods may result in crediting failure. In such cases, it is recommended to contact the online customer service to provide feedback in a timely manner.
